Greenfield Plumbing and Heating was started in 1962 by John Greenfield. In 1981 Joe Clarke began working with Mr. Greenfield. Joe quickly found he had an aptitude for the business and not long after acquired his Master Plumber’s License. In 1988 upon John Greenfield’s retirement he passed the business on to Joe. Under his leadership, Greenfield Plumbing has grown extensively. His nearly 40 years of experience in the plumbing and heating field has helped Joe to become a great mentor and teacher to the rest of the Greenfield employees. The foundation that Greenfield Plumbing & Heating’s reputation for quality work and excellent customer service is built on, starts with Joe Clarke.
Joe also served as a Sargent in the Irvington Police Department for over 20 years. He was the Department’s Accreditation Officer and as such was instrumental in the department receiving New York State Accreditation. He has been a volunteer firefighter with the Irvington Fire Department for over 40 years and sits on its board of trustees. Along with his wife Norah, they have been involved with numerous community organizations in Irvington and are the founders of Irvington’s popular Halloween parade.
Joey Good started with Greenfield Plumbing & Heating in 1989 and has been a licensed plumber since 1996. In 2003 Joey became a partner in Greenfield Plumbing & Heating with Joe Clarke. Joey is experienced in all areas of the plumbing & heating trades. He specializes is in high-efficiency home heating systems, tankless water heaters, smart home controls for plumbing systems, and water filtration. Joey is also a Con Edison Operator Qualified Technician, enabling him to meet any needs you may have regarding your natural gas services. He also holds many licensing certificates for some of today’s standards in the plumbing & heating trades.
When Joey is not working he enjoys his second passion for coaching youth sports, especially football. He is the President of the Junior Horseman football program in Sleepy Hollow. His children are no longer part of these programs but he continues to dedicate his time and energy to the youth of the villages. Joey is married with four children and one grandson. He believes in family and community and treats all his customers like the neighbors they are.
